Role: ICT technician

Company: University of Lincoln

General day to day tasks involve being the first technicians to engage with clients, ensuring a high level of customer service whilst carrying out diagnostics, and technical support for student and staff based queries. This includes deployment of hardware/software, auditing and appropriately delegating tasks to other team members via the customer service software zen desk.


Role: Photography Sales Operative

Company: Picsolve

Working for the world famous ride photography company held a wide range of responsibilities including: delivering top customer service whilst taking photographs of guests upon entry and also working as a sales operative selling products to guests. Working in a fast paced busy environment such as this demands patience, problem solving skills and a determined hard working attitude. This position also greatly improved communication skills as it gave me a new found confidence and also appropriate experience in diversity awareness and cultural sensitivity. All of these skills have helped me to break multiple sales records and deliver excellent customer service and also to solve sensitive problems outside of my immediate job role.


Role: Marshall

Company: Doveridge Clay sports Club

This period of work consisted of operating the clay pigeon traps and scoring the participants performance.


Role: Physical Education Sports Coach

Company: Progressive Sports

This period of work experience consisted of designing, setting up and carrying out physical education lessons for primary school students. The experience from this work was invaluable as it involved not only individual work and responsibilities but also increased the ability to have a versatility  when working with multiple age groups and therefore improving the quality of teaching for the primary school students.


Role: Mobile Phone Technician

Company: The Cellphone Service Center

Work involved a range of tasks including: customer service, manual labour such as moving stock, I.T assistance and mechanical work and repairs on mobile phones.


Voluntary work placements:

Location: Thomas Alleynes High School                               

Assisting in the teaching of year 9, 10 and 11 ICT lessons.

Demonstrating ICT for open days, parents evenings

non profit – Voluntary decorating for charity


Location: Art & Soul Friendship Group, Uttoxeter           

non profit – Helping to decorate, Set up of computers and equipment and also assisting at fund raising events
